Over the last few months a lot of work has been put in to various projects at the club. Please see below for a short summary:
Milford Park – N Gauge
This layout has seen a lot of progress on the track work, ballast and scenics. The track is now permanently fixed down and it has had its first layer of ballast. A new bridge has been put together and painted as well as static grass work to the fields.
This DCC layout built to a Peco set track plan is progressing nicely.
Lowe Quay – OO gauge
Colin has been quietly working away on getting the high level automated shuttle system to work properly. It has been a pain at times, but progress is being made. Hopefully more building work and scenery can begin in the New Year.
Wadebridge – N gauge
A lot of work has been put in by various members to get this project moving forward. The final few point motors are now being connected, the backscenes are being made and amendments/improvements to the track work are being made.
Bodmin General and Wadebridge are going to be set up in their entirety for the first time in nearly 10 years inbetween Christmas and New Year.
Bournemouth West – OO gauge
Bournemouth West is also going to be set up in between Christmas and New Year in order to allow members to familiarise themselves with the sequence and to enable more scenic work to occur.
That’s all for now, but Merry Christmas to all of our members, followers and supporters. I hope its a good one for you all!
