Salisbury & South Wilts Railway Society

Welcome
Salisbury and South Wiltshire Railway Society was founded in 1964 and has grown from strength to strength over the past fifty years. It is essentially a busy and growing society catering for members of all ages with a variety of railway interests and not exclusively railway modellers. Our main club evening is Friday from 7PM, although we also meet on Tuesday's at the same time.
The Society has just acquired a second club room where access can be available 24/7. If you would like to join us, you are welcome to come along on any Friday or contact our secretary for further information. Owing to site security visitors and prospective members are asked to contact the Society secretary and advise time of arrival.
A test-track and layouts in 00 and N gauge are usually available. There are also opportunities to chat over a cup of tea or coffee. The Society holds an annual exhibition in May. Club visits are also arranged to major model railway exhibitions and at least one railway-based venue annually.
